T-Fal ActiFry Review and Giveaway!!

Anyone who knows me knows that I love to cook.  I am always trying out a new recipe or looking for a quick dinner to fit into my crazy schedule.  And as I am constantly watching my weight, it is super important that my meals are healthy and low fat whenever possible.

Most weeks you will find a crockpot recipe or two as well as a grilled meal on my menu plan.  This time of year is always super challenging when it comes to fitting in dinner before baseball or swim practice - and soon I will be hurrying home from the pool, scurrying to come up with quick and easy meals to prepare.  Sound familiar?

Let me introduce you to my new favorite appliance - the T-Fal ActiFry. I cannot begin to explain how much I am loving this new gadget.  Amazingly, this awesome appliance cooks food quick and easily and with just one tablespoon of oil or less!  What's the secret?  The T-Fal Actifry has patented pulsed air technology and a paddle that constantly stirs the ingredients assuring that they are cooked evenly.  The result is a tasty and low fat product, evenly browned and ready to serve!

And just when you thought it could not get any better, can you believe the non-stick ceramic coated inside pan, paddle and plastic lid remove easily for quick and easy clean up - and are dishwasher safe?  WOO HOO!!  It cooks for me and with barely any clean up!  Oh yeah - this is every busy Mama's dream come true!

Check out this video from You Tube to see how it works:

So far I have made herbed roasted potatoes, a delicious chicken stir fry and a warm apple cinnamon sugar dessert.  Every recipe has turned out perfectly!  The potatoes were crisp on the outside and warm soft and steamy inside -just perfect.  My family devoured them!

The ActiFry comes with a handy cook book with tons of recipes that include breakfast, dinner and snack ideas - and you can also head to the ActiFry website for even more.  You can cook everything from wings to chili in this versatile little machine.  Later this week, I am planning to make some sweet potato fries, homemade granola and maybe even an egg and sausage bake on the weekend.  I look forward to making my way through the recipe book and adding recipes to my upcoming menu plans. Any opportunity to cook a meal without turning on the oven and heating my whole kitchen is a bonus in my book.  Yes, I really think I may be in love!
